ok, so i just took my smelly thrift store shirt out of the washer and took a big whiff..... and almost threw up.
the vinegar didn't work.
any suggestions? It's a really cute shirt!!! I'd rather not throw it away, although that's the kind advice of my sweet husband :)

Hang it out in the sun and wind outdoors (say, like the backyard, on a clotheline or makeshift clothesline strung between two chairs or something) for about three days. That's about the only thing that has worked for me for removing persistent odors from thift store clothes I've gotten.
So much for Charlie's soap!! baking soda?? (hopefully all the vinegar is washed out!)
well, I tried w/ Tide w/ Bleach the 2nd time around (with the vinegar rinse...) still no luck. ick.
I had spilled shrimp scampi on my car floormat and underneath it, tried many things, but
OdoBan finally got the smell out!
Boda man smell can be removed with sunlight. The same thing will get the future yucky smell out of you diapers (and remove stains too) I would pour boiling hot water over it, add some baking soda and let it soak over night. Then dry in the good ol' sunshine.
